Over the weekend, my wife had to go on a business trip to Austin, Texas, so I decided to tag along with her and help. After we finished working, we decided that we wanted to eat somewhere that we hadn’t been before and I figured that I’d show her the Neighbor’s Kitchen & Yard.
Something to note about this location, is that it’s right next to the bridge scene from Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. We couldn’t get a seat outside because it was too crowded, but I worked my way down to the patio where a group awkwardly looked at me as I took a photo of the bridge over the Colorado River.
If you haven’t seen the movie before, it’s meant to be funny, down to the poster artwork. The bridge isn’t all that long, and doesn’t even appear very long when it’s shown, but the driving scene goes on for a very long time. It also makes you wonder, why didn’t they slam on the brakes?
